you say it's complicated,
that i need to apologize,
but seriously...
that i need to apologize,
but seriously...
i tried you sincerely,
and i didn't like you like that,
so i said 'no more'.
and i didn't like you like that,
so i said 'no more'.
i even said it nicely and respectfully.
but you didn't like me saying no,
and you wouldn't accept it.
so you treated me like shit,
for months, even years.
and you wouldn't accept it.
so you treated me like shit,
for months, even years.
over one little word... no.
Context:
This is about someone who punished me for saying no to them sexually and romantically.
People are allowed to express interest in someone and then change their minds. In fact, that's an incredibly normal thing to do. There is a big difference, then, between things getting messy while dating and someone being intentionally vindictive about the outcome.
To the Person This Is About:
I do not want anything to do with this person or anything from them, other than their awareness that my story is my story. Just because you interjected yourself into my life, it does not mean you get power or control over my story, especially after harming me.
