physical violence
hits the nervous system like a rock.
but a rock is easier to understand
than radiation, a twister, UV rays,
or hail.
when you slammed your fist into my face,
i understood what you meant.
at least, it wasn't confusing.
confusing violence suck.
so does rock violence.
i hope i never face a confusing rock.

This is about the confusing ways that physical violence is more readily understood and recognized in society than other types of abuse. It's also about being punched.
